Welcome to UMW (United Methodist Women) where we believe love in action can change the world. During our circle meetings, we have programs designed to grow the faith of our members and to aid local missions at Seabrook United Methodist Church and around our community. Make plans to join us at one of our monthly circle meetings.
Love Circle
The Love Circle meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month in the fellowship hall at our church. We meet at 11am for our program and fellowship which will be followed by a shared potluck lunch. The Love Circle plans to meet every month of the year. Laura Hagen is organizing the restart of this circle and she can be called on her home phone which is 281-339-1008.
Faith in Action Circle
The Faith in Action Circle meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the fellowship hall at SUMC. We begin at 6:30pm with business, fellowship, light refreshments, and then our program. The FIA Circle does not meet in July or August. Our current Chair is Linda Carrington and she can be reached through her cell phone @ 281-455-7135.
In 2022, the national organization changed their operating name from United Methodist Women to United Women in Faith to show that we are open to all Christian women. The unit here at Seabrook United Methodist Church made the decision to keep calling ourselves United Methodist Women since we meet at a United Methodist church. You don’t have to be a member of our church to be a member of our unit and to attend our circle meetings. Please go to www.UWFaith.org for more about our national organization.
